I think it's appropriate to use "theft" to describe one anomalocaris taking some food from the claws of another.

Have you tried other methods of maintaining your operating system? Maybe you've picked up some spyware or something, or there's something funky with the registry. I would have tried a lot of stuff before reformatting, and I probably would have found another drive to format so I could go back to the original if things didn't work out.
 
I think he uses the same soap as Barry, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Cubase saves a lot of stuff in the Program Data folder or under Users/AppSettings, Docs and/or Settings somewhere. When rebuilding your hard drive, be sure to find and copy those folders. Better yet, don't rebuild your hard drive every time. If, in fact, you have to reload everything to fix performance, it is better to rebuild from a saved image of your C: drive instead of reloading everything. Use DriveXML from Runtime software. No bloatware. simple and works good. Personal edition is free (win7 requires an easy workaround when restoring an image). Get your system working the way you want and then take an image of it. Use that image when you need to fix performance issues. Though, as Tim said earlier, better to find the cause and solve that.

The beeps are because your software isn't registered. After rebuilding a hard drive, this is most likely the case. Using a saved image to rebuild your hard drive will keep all the registration data and you won't have to reregister. Save your projects to another disk because you will lose them if they are on the C: drive.

If it comes to light that you are using stolen software, you will be banned. So best to just squelch the attitude a bit and stay on topic. We get a lot of people here looking for help with stolen warez and we do not condone theft.

perhaps you as a genuine artist, should work at one of those companies instead of spending your time reformatting your hard drive. It would solve your problem of living below the poverty line, provided that company has collected enough capital from the bourgeoisie insecure in our society to pay you what they believe you are worth. :p

Got a few of those where I work. I asked them, didn't you crack open a newspaper to see who was hiring and what the jobs were paying before you decided to spend $100K and 4 years learning to do what most people consider a hobby? I was a bit more diplomatic than that, but you get the point. ;)

I'm curious, while true artists are not worried about Degrees, or loans, do they worry about food and shelter? Sounds like a real First-World problem to me. Most of the planet would consider someone who has a computer, internet connection, full time job and time to worry about bourgeoisie insecurity, to be quite rich. Congratulations, You've made it!

Those bit torrent/crack sites are filled with virus, malware, and other bourgeoisie instruments of a capitalist pig society. Those tools of the wage slave masters are all designed to separate the genuine artist from his capital. Genuine artists must avoid them at all costs, they bait genuine artists with promises of something for nothing, only to infect the genuine artist's hard drive with all sorts of NSA tracking applets. LMAO, I am such a horrible person, by the way ATKRON stands for Attack Squadron 205, yes hanging my head in shame i admit I served the great satan in the US NAVY. Where did I go wrong? I admire such vile words a duty, honor, and country. I am so stupid for working all my life to get ahead so I could buy the G.I. Joe with the Kung Fu grip. Maybe I should take one of the guns I own, oh dear, I have done it again, and just shoot myself....what to do, what to do.
