Hi. I am a newbie who knows a bit about recording and was wondering if anyone could please tell me what things I will need. Also I will need a fx box and was wondering where I could get one. thanks so much. oh ya, dose anyone know of daft punk? well Thats the kind of music I am going to be doing so if theres anything You suggest I get, please do!
 
What will you need for what? Mics for drums? Board and recorder for recording? Be more specific please.

sory, I Have all The Intrements I need and microphones, I just need the recording stuff. what things do U suggest I get to start recording
 
Sorry... but it sounds like you need to get a handle on even the basics....... start with a couple of books.......

Modern Recording Techniques - Huber & Runstein

and/or

Total Recording - Dave Moulton (this one may be a bit too advanced for the novice, though...)

HI!! thanks to the 2 people sooo much that helped me but I have dicided to do computer recording and burn what I record to a cd. Thanks sooo much for the info.
 
What info? I sort of remember a thread very much like this not long ago.
