Please help me, I brought a Lexicon Lambda USB audio interface to work with my Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio 4XL. and Cubase Le

My recording set up is as follows:

1. Compaq Prescrio SR-2100 PC

2. Art Tube MP mic preamp

3. Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio 4XL

4. Cubase LE

5. Sound Forge 7.0

6. AKG Perception 200 condenser mic w/mic cord, mic stand, pop stopper

7. Roland Monitors

8. Lexicon Lambda USB audio interface

9. Behringer Headphone amp

10. Fruity Loops Producer

11. various of instruments cords to map everything together

With this setup , I record hiphop,r&b and pop music and I am getting vocals on 1 side only through the mic and getting alot of noises and humming sound on the other side. I went through the set up for computer drivers for sound playback is ok but input is not. Should I use computer's sound card for mic/input only and playback- output audio interface (Lexicon)?

I welcome any advice thanks!!!!

I would use the balanced mic lines on the Lambda whenever you can. Have you tried running the DXDiagnostics utility?--part of Windows. If not, find it in C\ProgramFiles\directx\setup and run it. This may give "some" indication about the problem.
OK, maybe stupid questions, but--have you tried different mics?...have you tried different mic cables?
Run DXDIAG and let us know the results.
