Would you please give me comments on recording (eq/tonal spectrum/rvrb)
of a new composition/rec of mine:

Thanks!

I liked both the piece played as well as the recording. I think you dialed in a really natural sounding reverb on it.

Both pieces sounded quite good. Clear sound, light but effective reverb. Nice playing style.

Not my kind of music but I really liked them both. They sound really clean and clear and you have some good licks thown in. Are those your creations?

I guess just guitarmusic for nylonstring guitar...post-modern or so? :)

Nice technique and style on both pieces. What gear did you use, how many mics and what kind, analogue, or digital, software, hardware, what kind of guitar, where did you study, who's your agent, what label? C'mon, give!

Thank you for restoring my faith in good music. Both are great and are defiantly worth a listen. Do you like the Allman Brothers? Some of it sounds similar style wise, but defiantly original. Again, I just want to say this is awesome, and yes it was recorded great with the right amount of reverb and all.

Thanks Nateman and Mikemorgan,
the gear is simple: nylon string guitar (Alhambra this time) with Fishman pickup/ Fishmanaura (so no mics!)/fed into ProTools LE (MAC) added some Focusrite red (plug-in). Where did I study and all that :) I am from Holland, studied at the conservatory...Like to compose nowadays! Glad you like it..I will continue! And post more here....

No mics? That sounds damn good for direct. I've never heard bends in that style of music before, but it sounds good.

Nateman01, it does sound a bit like Little Martha a times, but that's just the style.

Has anyone here heard of the Fishmanaura (fishmanaura.com)? I think it's great for recording. And no problems anymore with environmentsounds....

I went to the website and call me dumb, lol, but what the heck is it? Is it an amplifier for acoustics?

Arrangement 9, technique 8.5, recording quality 9, overall enjoyment as a listener 9.5

Thanks you all. The Fishmanaura is a Mic + guitar sound modeller....It models the sound of the guitar in combination with mic (the better ones) in combination with the 'sweet spot' of mic position. The advantage is acoustic very clean recording anywhere....the disadvantage might be a bit too clean recording...but then again the overall tonalspectrum is very balanced!
