Ok firstly im new to cubase, and have been using other programs for my projects, and dont have a clue what is happening with cubase.Ive recently gone out and bought a 4 i/0 E-MU soundcard and cubase SX. I cant seem to get my playback playing in both speakers. Ive tryed playing with the track inspector and changing the outputs to left and right... it only seems to play in the left , and if i change to the right it there wont be a sound playing. (I am playing back stereo tracks... and it works fine in my other software)

any help will do... thanx

First off, in Cubase, you need to go to Devices then VST Multitrack and make certain you are using the correct driver for the E-mu.
Now go to VST Inputs and make sure all your Inputs are listed and set to be visible. Do the same for the VST Outputs.
Now back under Devices, click VST Connections (or hit F4). This is where you setup your Input busses and Output busses. Under the Outputs tab, click Add bus. Add a stereo bus and set the left and right outputs for whatever outputs of the E-mu you are using as your main stereo output.
Also make certain that none of your cables to your speakers are defective.
