Hey, I've seen a lot of peolpe posting drawings of their studios on here, and I just wanted to point out that I'm also an Auto-Cad technician, with years of experience in architectural drafting and design. So, if anyone finds a need for construction plans, I can help! I work cheap too!

Yes, I can do 3-D as well.
It's a little more time consuming, and tends to be more conceptual in nature as opposed to detailed construction plans with door and window schedules, wall cross sections, and other construction details.

The reason I asked is that I'm here at work chained to Acad, designing high purity piping skids. I've been doing 3d Autocad since it was introduced in release 10 back in '90. I modelled my attic before I finished it and moved my studio in. I definitely think there's a huge cross-section of musicians and computer/engineering people. Very cool.

Yep, seems to be. I've been doing AEC for 17 years or more.
Started using AutoCad back at release 9!

I don't get it. I'm in high school and am enrolled in an architecture class. We use Vector Works Architect but we also keep current in Acad. I don't get why that when all of us move on we'll all have to re learn everything in acad when we could be learning it now! Not that I don't LOVE Vector Works...
