OK, guys and gals, here is my request for assistance.

Due to the plethora of Asian sourced mics available, I have recently started collecting photos, specifically of the mic internals (pcb's, etc) which may or may not show up some interesting similarities and help determine the manufacturer.

It is not meant to be the "be all and end all" of mic pcb design, but it may help clear up some confusion at times.

If anyone is able to supply clear, close up photos of their mics internals, please post them here or send me a PM and I will give my email addy.

All contributions will be greatly appreciated and if the "library" grows enough I will keep a list of the pics here in THIS post.

So... you want pics of ANY mic's innerds, or just Asian ones?

I have a v67m, mxl 603, and ecm 8000s. Let know if you want pictures of any of those..

Musiciansfriend.com or samash.com should have pictures of those mics.

Michael,

Mainly the Asian mics so that ultimately it may be possible to do comparisons of the mics from each of the 3 main manufacturers.

Chris,

The V67m would be great thanks.........I too own the others you mentioned.

jobo,

Are you saying that those sites would have pics of the mic's internals?

This is an example of what would be helpful (Behringer B1 and B2...........courtesy of wilkee). The originals were much larger and emailed to me so details were easy to see. Keeping the emphasis on the pcb's is the main thing.

hey Hangdawg -- neighbor ;-)

how's your studio coming along? Is it finished?

Getting close. It's summer time and the boy is in summer camp. Freakin almost $400 a month. Ouch! I got the floor in the control room down, minus the hardwood. It's all insulated, walls up less a layer of sheet rock and paint. Should be fininshed in Aug. I'll let you know and you can take a trip down a check it out if ya like. Just remeber, it's nothing like some of these guys have. But at least it's in a seperate building from the house. And the neighbors don't bitch.

OK Ill Post a pics of pcb of the HA-101 where do I upload???

sounds great, HangDawg! Keep me posted so I can visit you soon. Good luck and if you need help just let me know! Maybe you can post pictures in the "studio building & display" forum so we can all watch your progress.

oh no -- bunyip again! LOL

Bunyip, ausrock wants to see pix of the mic internals (pcb's, etc), did you read that? You refused to do so in the other thread.
