Pick your pick

I like the fender heavy thick picks. I don't want any bend whatsoever in a pick (on electric guitar). I play a lot of Albert king style blues guitar ...so...I'm plucking the strings that I bend and picking the runs with a flat pick. Also I do a lot of pinch harmonics. I takes a heavy pick to hold up to that kind of playing...a thin pick will be cracked to hell and back in 10 minutes.

In a pinch a dime, a penny, or a quarter will work. I don't care for nickels to be honest.

I like a pick with some flex to it on acoustic guitar

Dunlop. Tortex. Standard .60 mm.
I have a tight hold on the pick, and play fast and heavy ,and slow and light and that pick allows me to do so comfortably with my playing style, strings, and tuning. I started out with 1.14 and have worked my way down. Occasionally though I will use an .88mm. depending on how i feel :D
