I don't think you're done yet.
This has been knocking on my skull for a bit. Why did I type the above?
I think I figured it out. It is all about the "boo's". No, not booze!
when I hear the boo's, I think two things...
1) "He's added the boo's in anticipation of a reaction to the piece. And what better way to equalize and nuetralize a percieved negative than to point it out first.
2) "He put the boo's in because they fit with the dramatic score that he's creating and I just can't see the full picture in his head due to the fact that I've only hear one (i.e. THIS) movement in the entire production. In short, I'm not privy to the full picture and suffer from a lack of context.
Sam,
Please note that I've listened twice (I think, if not more) and the piece makes me wanna write a story or scene or spoken word poetry behind it. I love the piece and can't comment on the mix cause I've doltish ears. But, why does it FEEL like it is a part of a greater whole?
I won't be suprised at all if my flacid insight is, once again, missing all aplicable marks. Just wanted to clear my head of these thoughts
Peace out,
Theron
