I cant get it to play on Hi-Fi. I am listening to it lo-fi so I cant comment on the mix. I really like what I am hearing but I will have to get back to you when I can hear it better.

Sami, you sir are amazing. That's so good it's scary.

Sam,

Nice...different...weird......kewl.....and a bit scary.....

No real criticisms other than I didnt like the hi-hat ...was a bit too 'tick-tick-tick-tick' for me......

I love the second part....although the delay occasionally clashes with the next note (especially at 1:43)......

Very nice ebow work.....

Would go great with a scary Manga cartoon.....

Peace.

Nick

BOOOOOOOOO

man, do you wear a goalie's mask when you are playing the piano??:p as alway's a very dark feel( signature stuff)

when the drum's come in, i get that metallica s&m vibe(good thing??) i think so. drum's fit nicely BTW.

another piece that showcases your flexibility and creativity!!!!!!

on a side note...............

tell me you have something heavy swirling around in that head of your's. im jonesin for some sabbath solo's,screaming!! and that kick ass heavy git tone!!!!!!!!!!! i need it!!

throw me a bone dude!!:D

thank's man

peace

rick

I want to hear this piece already, but Media player keeps telling me its unable to initialize a file. I even tried downloading and the same thing.

Tell me what to do.

While don't blame you for craving his gits, cuz they're SICK, I love this other stuff too! Very versatile writer.
I listened a couple more times today, and those pianos are beautiful...truly. It puts me on a nice vocal melody ride...

sluice

i hope that i haven't implied that i don't like sam's piano stuff, cause that is completely false. sam is my favorite artist on the board's!!! talented sob!!!!

i have listened to his instrumentals in the dark with candles burning, for god's sake, when i have a stressfull day and im just trying to chill(ya know??) i reach for sammy's stuff.

im just ready to hear some more heavy "sab" stuff. i just need a new fix:D

so sorry if that came off the wrong way:confused: maybe i should just keep my mouth shut.

and sluice, your running a tight second bro, your stuff rock's!!!!!!

peace

rick

no no no...sorry man!
It was just a good chance for me to point out his fine piano sensibilities. :D The man is creative as hell.

Believe me, I love the heavy stuff too!!!

Man... you have a brain packed with creativity..

Great work!

The boo's were definitely funny.... :)

King Elvis
Nick Hall
J Marcomb
senor Track Rat, thanks for the ears guys!

Cyan Jaguar - I don't know what's wrong, I thought Waldo said something about Windows media not working well.. thanks for tryin'!

fenderlikingood - my friends say the same thing to me all the time!! really! :D "where's the heavyness?"
I can only say that the next tune will be the heaviest I've posted yet..
Most people won't like it due to it's distorted funeral vibe.. :)

thanks man!

Hey Sam,
.........sorry to hit this so late........ i just got in from vegas. ..........boooooooooo:D
....While i was there i saw "O", which is a new water ballet/circus act from Cirque de soleil. Im watching the guys playing the score and thinkin.....this is Sam's calling. This piece would have fit into that score perfectly. Very nice stuff man. Very galant and majestic.............and "classicalish" too.;) I dug the drums, and that's a new use for the E-bow to my ears.

very nice bro

(my wife agrees:) )

I'm with Elvis, I can only get you on low-fi. I did hear some lovely piano and the ebow was etherial and mostly well done. The high notes sounded a bit harsh, but that's the only real criticism I have. You have some pretty good chops, there buddy, a credit to yourself and an asset to this board. Sure would like to hear it hi-fi, though.-Richie

Here's a compliment. I liked it so much (on "LoFi") that I'm downloading it (on a 56K modem). This will take approximately one week, after which I will listen to it on a continuous loop until somebody makes me stop.

great piano work

Sam,
I really liked the piano work you did on this tune man, especially the second half. Im a big fan of the E-Bow also and you made it fit perfectly on this. From what I could tell, everything sounded good mix wise. What do i know though? lol

Progressive

Hey man where is this stuff coming from.... I'm listening it right now and I'm surprised. The drums and rhythm in the first part have nice touch.

Riku

i never heard the first version but this one sounds really cool.

you've definitely got a head full of creative ideas! i don't really know what an ebow is but i think i could tell when it came in halfway through the song and it sounds really cool! i want to hear more of that. i think you could probably write something with just that instrument and the boo's. I actually liked the song best from the first boo's til the end. and i love the boo's.

i also liked the snare drum sound very much. it mixed well with the song. what are you using for drums?

I don't know, but I just seem to not like your instrumentals as much as the others.

Don't get me wrong - excellent playing and mixing. I also liked the instrument choices. You always have killer drums too. It's just that the song didn't do much for me. Sorry.

Except the boo's. Those were great. They sound like the one's they used on Monty Python.

Guernica - my man.. thanks to you and the Misses.. :D I really hope to get to Vegas one day.. That must have been a rip.. My only problem is I am a degenerate gambler! :D (among other things)

Richard Monroe - I don't know what the problem is.. Soon I will have a new website though.. thanks for checkin' it out.. It really sounds bad on lo-fi..

chrisharris - thanks a lot man! :)

enrichenryus - thanks.. An EBow is a little device that you hold in your hand instead of a pick, and it gives you infinite sustain.. I used the neck pickup with the tone all the way down for that sound.. The drums are a Roland TD-8 sound module, hooked up to Pd-9's. 7's, and 5's... appreciate the listen man

Tom D - thanks! There isn't any bass on this tune.. Maybe you listened to a different one? :D I couldn't get it to sit right with the piano so I left it out.. thank you though..

Wireneck - appreciate the words man.. EBows rule! :D

Riku - thanks a lot! It comes from a dark, dirty, and smokey apartment.. :D

Triple M - thanks for your honest thoughts my man! :) :D
