Phantom wiring..

Help...I need to make a cable....to carry phantom power. It needs to go from xlr (at the mic) to a 1/4 TRS......is there any trick to this or is it simply a "balanced" line? Quick answers are appreciated as I need to get this done tonight! Thanks all!

Nope, there's no trick to it. Usually it's pin 2 of the xlr to the tip, pin 3 to the ring, and pin 1 to the sleeve.
