Peavey 5150 Head question

OK.....

You can put this on me being a bassist...
But if someone offered a gig with other gear than mine, I'd at LEAST demand to play my own instrument.

...I think I've had nightmares of playing a gig with completly out of the blue gear..

That's what I've tried out, bought, rehearsed and bloody well slept with them for.

I hear you dude. Im not sure I can go through that again. It took me a set before I was feeling comfortable with the duct taped les paul. The Balance was way off due to the duct tape, so i was tring to fret while holding the neck from dropping down to my knees.
