I am trying to use my PC to trigger my keyboard. My program is Sonar 1.0. I am going from a Gateway (with Windows XP) computer Serial Port to the midi in on my Korg X5D, using a Midi Connector Cable. When I go to Select Midi Devices on my PC, it only offers Soundblaster Live for imput and output choices. No other option (besides Midi Mapper) is available. Any suggestions on how I can get this to work? Thanks. VVSing

Umh... by saying serial port to MIDI IN, do you connect cable AG-001 (Korg's dedicated cable Serial to X5D PC/IF socket) ? Have you installed the propher driver ?

I've got it...

Here's the driver for Windows XP (also work in Win2000 & Win NT )... I bundled along with all installation & tutorial included. Extract and set it up, and back here if you have any difficulties...

;)

ps. not easy to zip it under 100kb attachement, but finally I can make it...;)
