Paypal is nice to have and use, just
warning.....if you get ripped off, dont EVER tell them a claim is settled
until you know for sure it 110% is the way you ordered or bought it.
Here is what I mean:
I bought a mixer off ebay.....I paid $130.00 through Paypal,,,,it never came and never came, so I filed a claim stating "I never received item". (their insurance is supposed to cover this kind of stuff)
A claim was opened, they (paypal) contacted the e-bay seller with a warning, then a couple weeks later, I received the item UPS. It arrived badly BROKEN. (the way it arrived, and the shape it was in, my guess was, it was broke intentionally by the seller for me filing a claim).

Anyway Paypal e-mailed me and asked me "Did the item arrive", and I said "Yes but it was broken".
Next thing I find out is they closed the case as "resolved"! When I called and asked what was up, they said "
You can only open 1 claim per item,,,,PERIOD!!!! "It finally DID arrive, so the original claim was now closed", and I am not allowed to file a new claim for damaged goods, because only 1 claim per item is allowed. (what a loophole huh?). Then on top of it, if you buy something through Ebay and pay with Paypal, you can only make a claim through Paypal and not through Ebay.
So bottom line, I got stuck with a mixer that was broken, and there was nothing I could do about it. Its a pretty stupid Paypal rule, but its a rule they have in place, and THEY FOLLOW.
Besides this one incident, I have dealt through Paypal probably over 800 times without any problems.
Peace
AJ
