Hi!

I'm looking for some advice on labeling ReAn 96 point TT patchbays.

I tried with MS Word but nothing is comming out the way it should.

The labels are 21x0.4 cm's for 24 connections.
I need to have the device name on top and then the numbering below (spread out, to match the TT sockets)

Who can help me out?

Try Neutrik's web site. They have a program for doing exactly what your looking to do. Click on the link below and then click on "Products" then look for the "Patchlabel program".

I've always just improvised - measured the exact distance between the jacks on the patchbay and set up a template using a drawing program (or even a word processing program). Then type the labels on one horizontal line for each row of pastch points. Cut out each line of labels and use a glue stick on the back side to stick right onto the patchbay.

I've been tryin' to figure out what to do also..Instead of lableing the patchbay itself.. we are gonna hang a posterboard with the configurations on it instead..A12T would be P.bay.. A{first bay}..12{input12}..T would be top..So on my system A12T is record input track 12..Its got a "You Sunk My Battleship" vibe..I gotta do something because its too dam hard to read that small print.LOL!

I have tried the Neutrik program, but the program have no good printing options.

I get one row black/white and one in grey.

(am i doing something wrong here?)

Even bfore I read Henry Devil's post the idea occurred to me so I think I like that method because squinting to see what the hell I abbreviated is just too much of a pain.
