Hello,
I have a BR-1180CD. I record a track (guitar or mic) and when listening the playback, I can't pan it. I press the Pan button and if I set it to R100 I hear the track on both Left and Right with the volume slightly louder (than the panning set to 0). If I pan it to L100 the sound is like it is only the reverb and the volume is very low. I don't know if it's me or the BR, but it should be something easy to do... any ideas?

Does it happen no matter what trck you record it on? Have you tried a mic to see if the same happens with it?

I tried a Mic plugged in the XLR input and also tried a guitar. In any ways the panning is problematic. I've recorded with the insert set to Rec-Dry. So during the playback the sound is dry but when panning I got the same as described in my previous post. I'm afraid it's the BR that may be defect, but I still have hopes... :)

Unfortunately, it does sound like its the unit. Boss's minimum repair charge is about $75 if it's past warranty.

Finally, the problem is my headphones connector. I tried another ones and the sound is OK. Sorry for this newbie post!!! If someday someone have the same problem, this post will maybe help!
Thanks
