Panning not in audio mixdown file

Hello,

I am using Cubase Studio 5. I have instruments panned left and/or right in my mixes. When I export my mix and re-import it appears that I lose the panning effects. For example the harp that was panned hard right now seems to be in both speakers during playback. Is this dependent on file type of method of export? Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

Take a close look at your export settiings. I suspect you are exporting a mono mix.
