out of sync when i take files home

Help please -- Using Nuendo to record in our "studio" then taking files on an external harddrive home to "mix" on nuendo both old 1.53.. Initial recording fine then when we overdub / add tracks later they are always out of sync when i get home but fine on studio playback (sometimes i can fix and sometimes i'm struggling) the fix is usually looking at the timecode and moving the tracks problem is it doesn't seem to be working this time (more tracks and effects on this song?) any ideas hints ?? thanks loco

Is there a timecode offset difference, or possibly a completely different timecode (29.97 vs 29.97 Dropframe for example).

Atterion don't know much about timecodes i do know that i see them when i download the audiofile from one computer to the next. And they are different. I would think all files that "start" at zero would have 0 as the timecode?? thanks loco

Maybe in a perfect world. But unfortunately there are many reasons why there are not (Hence things like the offset function). Just be sure the preferences for both systems are set the same, and when making new projects try and stick to one timecode format.
