Well, my business partner in the studio took a job in FL. We were about 90% done being ready to open the doors. I travel so can't do this alone. Only option is to liquidate everything. Here's the list:

Tascam FW-1884 - New condition, just got this a month ago. Warranty card hasn't been filled out yet. $900

Wharfedale 8.2A monitors - Bought these from deepwater. You know all about them. They've been broken in and are in new condition. $200

BLUE Baby Bottle LD condensor mic, shockmount, pop filter, and Blueberry cable - new condition, only used to test if it works. $375

Shure SM57 - I have 3 - all new (2 never used at all) - $50 each

MoreME Deluxe headphones - I have 2 pair - never worn - $20 each

Behringer Powerplay Pro-XL HA4700 headphone distribution amp - new, only used for sesting. Never even rack mounted. - $75

Various cables, mic stands, etc - I'm probably going to donate these to our church but if you need something let me know.

There is also an RCA 100watt mono amp, an RCA 250w x2 (max watts I'm sure) amp, a TEAC dual deck CD recorder and some other stuff that belongs solely to the other guy. I need to get with him about prices on those.

Shipping not included in prices, that will be your preference or I'll figure out what's cheapest. I only accept paypal. After 2 weeks it goes on ebay. Post "dibs" here then contact my via email at kevin(dot)norris(at)mindspring(dot)com

TIA - I never would have even tried to do anything with a studio had it not been for the advice and information I got from this community.

Does the Baby Bottle include the pop filter?

I'd be interested in mic cables and mic stands, how many do you have?

I've got 2 good tripod mic stands with booms, a shorty boom tripod stand for amps of kick drum, and probably 10 or so mic cable of various lengths/quality. Nothing really nice but not the cheapest stuff either. I can take a complete inventory tomorrow if you want.

Well, we weren't technically in buiness yet, so it's more of a "Not-going-into-business" thread! :(

I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I can't take advantage of this as I am strapped hard for cash right now.
The timing was off. Oh well.
I hate to see things like this happen.

I hate it too, but I just could not find a way to do this on my own with my travel schedule. Thanks for looking.

you know......due to the last scandal....I wouldnt trust this at all as a member on this board. with only 56 posts it kinda seems like dejavu

I'm interested in a few things. I emailed you with interest in the Baby bottle, the SM 57's, and the Moreme headphones.

Paypal 101

KBlair, there are a few things you might try to provide some assurance to our recently-rattled Free Ads board.

- post pictures of the items

- provide your eBay ID

- provide Verified Paypal status and Paypal rating

http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/holiday-tips-outside

Buyers, you should obtain verified name, address & telephone number info, and make the Paypal payment via credit card.

Additional security can be obtained by a single-bidder buy-it-now eBay transaction, or by using escrow services such as escrow.com, but be aware that there are fees for either or both parties with such services.

Carry on!

i think mshilarious hit it.

I'll 2nd that....Although he's got something I want, I got hit on the last "out-of-business" sale...once bit, twice shy.

yeah i want the wharfedales but after seeing what happened on the last one, I'll just sit back and try to stop other from getting screwed over. maybe he is trying to screw people over or maybe not. better safe than sorry

its very easy to file mail fraud charges, especially if you use paypal. you just have to do it within 45 days. if he isn't committing mail fraud all he has to do is prove that he sent it by showing a receipt. or he has to refund your money. or he gets arrested by the fbi. i've been on record trading boards for years and the governments really gotten their act together on mail fraud. somebody from one of the boards spent 3 years in jail for it.

Well hopefully he'll respond with some legit info...

I could use some more mic cables and if rumbly doesn't take those wharfedales I could definitely find a spot for em

nah go ahead and take them rabbit. a couple of family members need some financial help so my discretionary funds paycheck has been spoken for.....just make sure you get the proper authorities on speed dial if the guy starts to take a turn towards "well i've been out of town for the past few days" or "things have been really busy at work".
