Fucking hot stuff!!! And the gal aint bad looking either.
 
There's a very rainbow sound of that playing. Catch the Rainbow. Maybe it's the background guitar.
 
Guess im a sexist, as I wouldnt be impressed if it was a dude playing, but I actually watched the whole clip. :)
 
She was a big hit(or miss depending who you ask)over at gearslutz several months ago. Most thought she was good looking but boring as hell. I personally couldn't get passed the good looking part and really didn't care to. She's hot and plays a cool instrument and that's good enough for me.
 
6501 rapid fire notes then one held then 6502 other rapid fire notes then 1 vibrato then 6503 rapid fire notes then pause then 6504 rapid fire notes.
Is this a pattern?
She's a guitar player like SSOO many others, flash, brash, image conscious &, without the guitar in her hands, (but then again even with as I'm not into shredding), BORING.

The entire first minute I kept waiting for her to upstroke with that pick... I was quite relieved when she started alternate picking.

Phenomenal guitarists are rare and she isn't one of them- but she plays a *hell* of a lot better than I do. :shrug: Some work on creative phrasing would help keep the nay-sayers at bay, though.

Seemed like she was improvising, as well. Maybe playing over unfamiliar material? If thats the case I wonder what she does when playing to stuff she's rehearsed?
 
An interesting clip True - I'd rather see a flicker of you though - when will you do something with that last Trower collab - it was worth doing more with.
Oh, & when are YOU gonna do some guitar work? All this teasing with exotic guitars show you have some taste in axes - play & record girl!

Thanks ray~ Rabbit laid some drum tracks for it and I can't wait to hear when it is mixed in.

It will be a while before you hear anything outta me with the axe. You just heard all the reviews on THAT chic player. They would eat ME alive.:eek:

Believe me, it would be blood and broken ear drums...:D

I am afraid the collection is all I have to offer at the moment and still longing for that Fat Strat to add...Oh, BTW I did add a mandolin to the harem last week. I'll post pictures later.

Well, seeing hows there is a tremendous shortage of chic lead players, it is fascinating for me to watch one playing. I was impressed, that she even strapped on a guitar and went for it!!! :cool:

I am still trying to figure out why, there are not more female lead guitarist and why, most go for the acoustic or the bass, most of the time instead of the lead? Is it just that most girls, just aren't interested in it...or that they are pretty much led to believe they can't/shouldn't be do it ...and this takes it's toll on mindset. But yet, when a chic does decide to do it, her playing apparently lacks compared to the male player...why? Lack of emotion?.. ability..? fear..? discipline..? Dexterity..? If this is the case, then what is the explanation for chic violinist and pianist...etc..? I wanna know!!
 
what does the bass player do at the end? stupid little slap/pop thing. why?!

i can't really bring myself to like that, though i can appreciate the skill involved :)

Yea, I agree. There's talent there, she has a good tone. It's just that pentatonics are boring now. There should be more lead players. A couple years ago I saw a Led Zeppelin tribute band called Lez Zeppelin. Some damn fine musicians in that group, would've loved to hear some original material.

the bands are all terrible, especially this one called Dot Dot Dot, but the guitar player (a girl) is pretty awesome imo.

To tell you the truth, I heard all that Em stuff before .... I would have been more impressed if she played some nice chord melody in Db. Those licks are so tired I gave up on them say 40 years ago. The babe looks good ...... the PRS, well lets just say I'm not a fan. It is just an over priced "plank". They sound ok ....most solid body guitars are over priced (and I own and play a few).
Ditch the axe and give the broad a tamborine.:D
