hi i want to buy a firewire mixer to use as a medium to record into cubase. i am going to mic all instruments (DI Bass). however we (the band) want to be able to hear the vocals as we are recording. so basicly if we use monitors, or speakers (with an amp) comming out of the mixer, we only want the vocals to come through the speakers or monitors. But we want all instruments to be recorded within cubase. now i know many would say record the vox later, but this is not what we want to do. Thinking more in the way of live rcording is what im asking possible?

I would opt for one of the alesis mixers if I had the cash (which i obviously dont)
