Thought I would give a link to this site, in case anyone is looking for open-source audio software for Mac's. There's some nice free audio stuff on there about 1/3 way down the page, including Aqualeggro, Audacity, and a collection of decent soft-synths and drum programming software:

Cool idea, but cheesy petes! How many FOSS office suites do we need?

How much of that is actually Mac specific? I think most of it is cross-platform (for all us Windows and Linux users).

No kidding. I thought OpenOffice was the end-all.

A good deal of the stuff will work cross-platform - just thought it was a nice collection including some synth software I had not seen before.
