Open Pro Tools 8 session file with no audio...

I opened a session file today and pro tools loaded, the session file loaded all the tracks and plugins, but their was no audio in the session, though the audio folder exists.


any ideas?
 
Might you be trying to open a session on a PC that was originally recorded on a Mac? (or vice versa)??
 
no this session was recorded on the same box I am trying to open it on.

I have no lost any audio, but I did loose a bit of edits.
I didn't have auto backup turned on for this sessions
 
Then perhaps you closed down the session without saving it the last time you were working on it?
