Much to my embaressment,I dont know how to create a convienient little blue link to my mp3(my only one so far). However,If you go to mp3.com and type in matt lewis you can listen to my mp3"on crack".A good wholsome diddy for the whole family.
p.s.can someone please tell me how to create those splendid little ble links.

The little blue links are just the complete URL.

Your stuff is on the way. OK Metal sound. But you need something rhythmically that hasn't been covered to excel in this genre. The sound you got on each part, apart from that somewhat too abrupt dropout in one channel a few times was really nice.

Thanx for the input drstawl.I know it sounds a little mechanical. Its a constant struggle when working with a drum machine(an alesis hr 16 circa 1989 in this case).
I must confess in my ignorance I dont understand your reference to"url".can you explain that in laymans(i.e.dumbass) terms?

Just type the www. befor the mp3.com and you get www.mp3.com

And, just imagine what a pain in the ass it would be to get a drummer to play that song.

Thanx for your help Kaputo!
Drummers are a pain in the ass anyway.

I thought it was very good. Now whatever was going on from 1:50 or something until 2:45, went on a little too long, for my personanl taste, but it did set up the next solo kinda nicely. Otherwise the song worked for me. There are a million instrumentals out there among the home recorders, and not all of them stay interesting the whole way. I thought this one did for the most part. I also like the bassline during that modulation at 0:50 or so, the modulation itself, set up the subsequent solo real nicely. As a drum machine user, I can only imagine what you went through recording this song. Anyway, I liked it........peace...Ray J

Ray J pretty much said it for me about the long long lead in to the second guitar part....by the way the guitar was GOOD...blisters on fingers no doubt......gibs

thanx for the feedback Gibbs.I know what you mean about the length of that part.I was just having so much fun with it,I never wanted it to end.I'm not known for my moderation.

The drums are mixed to low.
Otherwise it's perfect!
(Well, you need a real drummer of course, and I really HATE "lookhowfasticanplay" guitar-solos. I really liked the intro which doens't try to be fast but tries to be heavy!)

Thanx for the comments regebro.I dont know any heavy metal drummers(wish I did)besides,
I wouldn't know how to record drums that would sound any good.I suppose I should learn.
As far as "lookhowfantasticIplay"guitar solos,I must confess my love for guitar
masterbation(or any other kind of masterbation for that matter)

Hi

I just downloaded the song and can only say one thing: wow, wow, and wow again (OK that's 3 things!). I know it's a drum machine, but it seems to sound so real, and the guitar...it sounds so tight, as my brother would say. I however do like the "lookhowfasticanplay" solos, especially when it sits perfectly in the mix. Anyway, keep up the good work
