On a Tascam Porta02, will using a type 1 tape be noisier than a type 2?

the Porta 02 not having NR will sound overall a bit hissy, compared to other Portastudios with dbx NR. :eek: ;)
 
Yep, I know. It's really just for taking down song ideas, not for serious recording.
