Omni Studio resitng on Computer?

I recently purchased an M-Audio Omni Studio and currently have it sitting on the computer. There really is no other convenient place for me to put it, but I don't want to harm the unit. Is it ok to leave it here?

It should be fine.

If you're worried about noise, see what the input reads with an actie input, then lift it off the CPU and see if the level goes down. You can cross that bridge when you get to it.

You also might want to check and make sure there isn't a lot of heat from the computer where you have your omni studio sitting. Cool is always better.

Me thinks that if you have alot of heat coming from the top of yer computer, then you might have other issues to worry about !

Heat from the top of the case? My bad boy's cool as a cuke. It's a mid-tower, pretty big, with a lotta air in there... My Delta 66 has sat up there for four years nearly, no problems at all.
