Hey y'all...

I just bought an omni studio with the Delta 66 on E-bay.
Installed everything on WinXP Pro. So far, so good but here's the problem....

When I plug my bass in port #1 on the omni, I can see it's picking up the signal, but the goddamn meters on the Delta66 control panel won't budge! Same thing for #2.

And you know what? When I plug my tape deck in line in #3, the meters on the Delta control panel show activity. Everything is set up as they suggest it in the manual but I can't pick up anything trough Mic/Inst inputs #1 and 2.

Can someone tell me what the f*ck is goin' on?

I have an IBM model 300PL if that can help.
Thanks to everyone who chips in a little help.
I'll keep searching the posts for an answer...

What are you using for your recording sw? You will need to route the ins and outs on the Delta CP , and also set your recording software to get the sound from the Omni Box...in Cool Edit Pro for example you have a record in box on each channel to select where its getting the audio from...
the inputs show up as Input 1/2 R & L, and Input 3/4 R & L, which are inputs 1,2,3,4 respectively

does that make sense?

re-reading your post it sounds like in the "routing/patchbay" section of the Delta CP you only have 3/4 selected under HW ins...try clicking 1/2 in the first row, and 3/4 in the second

got it!

Finally solved the problem, it was the switches in the back of the omni. Sigh.

Once again I underestimated the amount of information and experience that has already been posted on these forums.
I wonder...since when has this board been runnin'?
