Old Midi Controller

I Got Riffs

New member
I just got an eKeys 49 for really cheap, but my computer won't seem to recognize it. I don't even hear the USB alert when I plug it in. However, I also have a Keystation Pro 88 that works fine, and according to M-Audio's website, they should work with the same drivers. Any suggestions?

If there's a way to reset everything (hold down a certain key while you power up, I forget which key) I'd try that. My MK-461C and MK-361C keyboards both needed that to get out of a software lockup once. I can't find the manual to see what key it is, I should write it on my keyboard in case it happens at a gig...

If that doesn't work, try and phone or email M-Audio and ask them.

M-Audio gear is quite fussy about not having it installed when your downloading the drivers. So 3 things.
Remove and reinstall the drivers.
Plug in your rig.
If it doesn't work, try every USB port and if it still doesn't work, you probably need a new cable.
