how do I completely get rid of audio files I didn't end up using, or entire projects altogether...I see everything I've ever recorded in my audio folder, and it's taking up 4 gig.

Edit: I'm using Sonar 4 producer

Are you using "per project" audio file system?

If so, to delete an entire project, just delete the entire folder.

To delete just the tracks you are not using, backup the file as a bundle file. Then delete the entire folder, and reopen and resave the bundle as a project file.

Or you could just run the Clean Audio Folder utility on the particular project folder.

If you are not using pre project files (you should be), it gets a little trickier.

Also, check the folder that holds the "picture cache". That's what Sonar 4 calls it. It's a separate folder that holds the files that show the wave forms within the program. A lot of files can build up in there and take up hard drive space.
