i just got a notice for 2 oktava auctions i was watching being removed because "it infringed the copyrights of its owners". how ridiculous is that?

From what I've read, it only pertains to the Oktava MKL-012 SDC mic, not their LDCs like the 219, 319 or 2500.

do you work for oktava or something? i don't see the point of putting that as a reply to every thread that mentions them. everything i've read seems to say they're just as good if not better than the russian ones. really i just want some clearanced mics to add to my assortment.bl2003 said:

FWIW, I just looked at eBay, and it's loaded with Oktava mics, including 012's, 219's, 319's, and 2500's.

I think Guitar Center ran out of this MKL2500. So I am going to bid on for one on Ebay. Hopefully I can get it at around $100.
Edit: I was told by GC in SF that they will have more in stock next week. Not sure if that's true.
