Any advice I can give comes from experience, not from a texbook. I've been playing almost 40 years and owned over 100 guitars, and done at least a little work on all of them. Yes Monty, I messed up on a few of them but quickly learned not to make the same mistakes again. There is one thing I should have stressed more, TAKE YOUR TIME don't rush into or through any work you do to your guitar. Keep picking, keep fine tuning, keep adjusting and in time your confidence in your own abilities will grow.
