To me you had a nice 60's sound going on the guitars (the intro reminded me of A Whiter Shade of Pale for some reason). And the whole instrumental production sounded a bit like a digitally restored recording (very nice, ambient and moody) - while the vocals were very clear and "close up". I thought the two conflicted a bit...

Anyways... those are just my no-matter impessions.

Um... My advice would be to move it to mp3.com; I can't find a way to play or download it!

:D

(will try later on, maybe Lycos is... asleep or something)

Figures. As soon as I hit "reply," the download box opened...

Give the beginning a little more volume, it's barely audible, and you might level it out right at 0:15.5 to where it is now... (i screw this up ALL the time... :()

I'd raise the vocals a HAIR, lower the kick a HAIR (the kick more than the vocals).

Love the organ curveball @ 1:50...

Your voice has a touch of Jacob Dylan to it (won't hold that against ya... :D)

Excellent song, dude. I'll end up listening to this one alot, for sure.

thanks

thanks kelly, i appreciate it. so most of the improvement is needed in the mixing. i know that lycos site is sorta strange...so heres a link to the same song at garage band,it works now. mp3.com is taking forever to get my music up.
