hey all,

You all probably get this question all the time, but im looking into buying a digital recording workstation but i need advice on which one is the best!
I want to be able to:
- Record my band
- Great sound quality
- Something not to hard to get used to (doesnt bother me to much though)
- Be able to edit recordings (if possible, or if not what is a good PC program to do so)
- Finalise the recording and be able to burn the demo on cd!
- Last and not least, Affordable!

I can use all the help i can get

It will let you record both standalone and with PC. It has 8 channels of simultaneous recording. It comes with the Steinberg Cubase LE software that will let you edit and mix your tracks. It will controll the software on a very convinient way. And it will cost you 400$.

ill check it out thx!!! i was looking at korg d3200, Tascam 2488 Neo, roland BR-1180/1180CD, or yamaha etc. something that ill only have to buy once and the actual unit burns demos and so on.

If u have more advice plz let me no, i want to buy one straight after x mas

I have the Korg D3200.
Can't beat it but I do all of my editing on the computer.
That's the way to go.
