Should I trace media.nowhereradio.com instead of Nowhereradio.com?

I see you were telling me what I was asking at the same time I posted.LOL...I run a trace and send you the tracert info.

I just PM'd you Waldo with the tracert...looks like there's a Backbone problem on my end.

Does anyone know if roadrunner uses uunet? Because I have this problem when tring to listen hi-fi and sometimes even lo-fi and down loads have been real slow also.

Road runner is one of UUNET's competitors and are owned and operated by Time Warner Cable.

Kramer, why can't I play hi-fi then?
Well know, this is wierd. I just went to nowhere and I'm playing the songs hi-fi. Maybe it has to do with how many people are there at one time? Don't know.

I think waldo said there were some problems with a backbone server on his end.Maybe he'll check into this thread and give an update.......there still might be a problem somewhere along the way with Road Runner...ya never know.....Im still having a problems today with hi/fi and low/fi....part of the problem is with UUNET.....you can always run a tracert from your computer to media.nowhereradio.com

if you dont know how just go to Start/Run and type Command

Click Ok and a DOS Prompt window will come up.

Then type tracert/ hit the space bar once/then type in media.nowhereradio.com /hit ENTER and the Trace will start....it'll show you where the slow downs occur along the way from your puter to Nowhereradio.

It doesn't mean that somewhere along the chain he's not going through UUnet...

What player are you using flash? And do you know how to do a tracert?

W.

Flash,
You can always download the song instead of stream it.Thats what Ive eneded up doing to everything I listen to...if it's good I keep it,if not,I delete it after I listen.

Thats true....everybody hops around here and there and uses different lines....I showed him how to do a tracert in my previous message but I think he has already edited his fisrts posts and is able to stream now.....could just be a user congestion problem...just have to wait in line till it's your turn to stream;)

All issues on this end have been resolved, so if anything, it'll be due to traffic, or something along the routing.

I'm back up to being able to stream 320kbps without issue.
