I just put together a demo/ep I got everything tracked on a BR8 (beats, vocals) But heres the problem I dont have studio monitors so i know my tracks might not be great quality (mixing,compression,processing etc etc)added to the fact that I dont know much about compression, processing etc etc, My question is would I be better off taking my br8 to a studio and having them clean it all up (compression, mixing etc) Or copping soundforge 6.0 or some other program Im not on a super budget but i wanna get this done right. Basically I just want my music to sound "professional" sonic wise... Any suggestions?

You know that most of us check most of the forums.
 
Is this wrong?.....Sombody that is good at mixing and mastering might not read the hip hop/rap beats forum/ somebody who knows about Sound forge might not read the newbies forum, somebody who has a studio and can school me on compression might not read the rap beats forum..... So that is why im cross posting
 
That's what I just shared with you in the above post.

Most of the veteran members check all of the forums, and they/we have our profiles set where we see ALL of the new threads that have been started. ;)
