Notes on this alt/novelty mix?

I almost said something about lacking bass when it kicked in! Nice transition there!
It's so nice to listen to something that isn't metal, almost refreshing.

It may be my headphone (I am at work and the pc doesn't have speakers), but it seems to be a bit muddy in the mid range.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
Nice work.

Thanks Rokket- I have yet to listen on headphones so I'll have to do that.
And I'm glad you enjoyed listening; it's not exactly a bad-ass song so I was thinking I was going to get booed off the boards for border-line soft rock. ;)

When you finish a mix, it's always best to burn it to CD and listen to it in as many different sources as you can: the car, the home stereo, a little boom box, on headphones. Each one will give a different response. If you can get a happy medium between 3 or 4 different sources, your half-way there.

And yeah, there has been a deluge of metal and other really hard stuff on the boards lately, it's nice to hear something a little less rocking. Even just an acoustic and a vocal makes for a nice change.
