especially the reverb effect you used on the end to make your voice really distant. care to share what you did?
only thing i'd have to say is the guitar is panned way too far left. i would say either pan the left channel in a bit or bring it down about 3dB.
i could hear some bass and drums w/brushes on this thing.
nice job
Timothy Lawler said:Nice tune. Vocal is expressive and well in tune. Rhythm guitar playing is solid. Vocal and guitar both sound just a little lacking in dynamics, so if it was compressed, I'd lessen that. The guitar sound make me suspect that a transducer is being DI'd and maybe mixed with a mic. If so, I'd just go with the mic, myself. My own preference also is to go without synth strings. Maybe add an ac gtr solo line as a counter to the vocal. Man I wish I could sing this well.

The guitar sounds a bit too harsh for my taste. Did you mic it, or did you go direct?

v6v6v6 said:Honestly, I don't know what would "fix" it but there's some distortion in my ears. For example, on the down strokes... I don't think it has anything to do with the guitar itself or your playing, but more like a drive-volume sort of thing where it's not as clear as it could be. Just my 2 cents, though. It's also fine as it is.![]()
