Not Losin' Again

I would like to get this mix just right... I would like to make it as professional as I possibly can (duh, I guess). The skills I learn with the mix on this song should help me greatly in the future.

The song name is, "Not Losin' Again". On my SoundClick site (see link below), there are two versions, an initial mix (Version 1), and one really ambitious try at a quality mix (Version 2). It's Hip Hop, so please forgive any repetition and/or deviation from your favorite style.

I have Pro Tools M-Powered 7 and the stock plug-ins included.

not really my style of music but i think the high pitched skipping bit (no other way to describe it) would generally be quieter in a professional production, especially if vocals are going over it. But generally a really clear instrumental thats well mixed.

I like the sounds. If you are going to put vocals to this, tehn I agree the higher sound throughout would probably need to be reduced in volume a bit. But it does sound pretty full.
