Hi folks,
I am trying to record a rhythm guitar part and am using Guitar Rig 5 VST for the tone. However i am not being able to pan the parts completely to the left or right. I am turning the pan pot in the mixer to the left but the sound is not getting panned completely to the left. Some sound is remaining in the right ear also. What is the solution to this problem?
I would also like to mention that in Guitar Rig i am using an amplifier which has two mics in it, and i am taking a mix of the mic sounds. Is that a reason i am having this panning problem??

Thanks

Well I am not sure why your having this problem but one thing you can do is record the midi into audio.

Create a new audio track and name it Guitar Rig 5 Recordings or whatever you would like to call it and make sure the i/o section of the mixer is open. Now where it says Audio From you will want to hit the first drop down menu where the default is Ext In and hit the drop down and find where it says guitar rig 5 (I am just assuming that is what it is called it may be something different) Now what this will do is it will take the midi and turn it into audio so you have to click the record arm on the bottom for the audio track and play the midi clip that you have going. If you don't have a clip you can record arm both midi and audio and you can record the midi to audio this way as well, then you should be able to pan it over with out any issues at all!

I have never used Guitar Rig 5 in my life but I am sure that this will solve your problem. :D

Let me know if it does the trick ;D
