Nord Micro or Creaware Pulsar

I'd like to hear some opinions about those two modular systems. Which one SOUNDS better. I'm more of a hardware guy so softsynths are not my first priority. But I think both of these have DSP chips so I consider the Pulsar as hardware synth/sampler. I'm into Techno/Trance stuff so classical or jazz music is not my thing. I want to create weird FX sounds, percussions, grooves and maybe drums. I know that Pulsar is more flexible in terms of plug-ins and it could be use as pure Sampler with STS5000 software. Someone is offering their Pulsar plus lots of plugs and sampler software for it - good price too. The main concern is which one has that full sound rather then thing software like sound. Also which one has more horse power when it comes to complex patches without any upgrades. I have Dual G4/500 to run either of them.
 
I only have $450 to spend, someone offered their Pulsar one for $450 - what's why I asked. I don't have $900 for Novation and don't want it. I aslo own Waldorf Microwave XT. Micro Q cost around $650 - which I don't have. I am also interested in Waldorf Pulse plus which s not modular, but I hear sound as good as Moog.
 
hmm.. the pulse is monophonic but it doesn't recreate the moog sounds very well cause it ain't analogue. If you wanna create real moog and tb303 sounds and stuff like that I have to guide you to the Novation Bass Station (the first one.) It is infamous for it's analogue oscillators and filters. But like the moog it's also monophonic.
If you only have the Micro and Pulsar to choose from other than that, i'd take the Micro. It's so nice to get as much as possible away from the computer, the screen and the bleeding mouse
