Hi all,
Apologies for the noob question and if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything.
I'm using the Arturia V Collection 5 VSTs with Ableton Live 9 and an Evolution MK-249C2 controller.
It's got 12 pots I've successful managed to map to the controls on, for example, the Farfisa VST – so I can turn the phaser knob up and down using my own physical controls – but it hasn't got any physical buttons I can use to turn the phaser setting on.
My question is this: Can I map the 'buttons' on the virtual synth to the standard, white and black piano keys?
When I try, using Ableton's MIDI mapping mode, it won't 'learn' my key press, it'll just play the note.
I should mention I have two keyboards – one of which I'd like to use for the controls on the VST, rather than as a piano-like instrument.
Thanks in advance for your help.
