Noises recording from MD to the computer...yesterday was ok,what happend today?

Hello everyone!
I must make a wave recording and i have problems for now...
I record myself(trumpet playing) with a MiniDisc(non data) NZ-N910+Sony ECM-DS70P microphone,the results in the MD are great...BUT after i record it from the MD it to my computer(tried various programms for that) i have a rather strong background noise(not very strong but still annoying and it spoils all the quality)...the strange thing that yesterday i recorded in same conditions and after recording to computer it had no noises,,,today i recorded again(good results in MD) and after transposition to the computer
its much more noise than yesterday...i can't find whats the problem..im pretty sure that the problem isn't in the MD,nor the microphone but something i did wrong today after that...maybe wrong volume setting?(i tried combinations..couldn't find)...checked the cable...still on't understand what can be wrong...what can i do?(for next days)
by the way is there any good program for removing that "bottom" noise in the WAVE i recorded today (but not only clearing in the gaps as some programs do..but clearing the music itself from this noise as well?)?

Did you transfer the file with the MD player in a different location than yesterday. Closer to a monitor, etc?


As far as removing the "bottom noises, do you mean low frequencies, or the low volume sounds.

I think its same place...

The location was the same....i just don't know what else could be different so its frustrating!
i want to get rid of this noises without damage the music itself...what can i do...im desperate

unless the noises are very low frequencies that you can eq out, there's not alot you can do. There ar noise removing programs, but if the noise is more that just a narrow isolated frequency band it will damage your music as well.
I have had little success with those programs, and I have tried a few.

Sometimes it's a simple problem. Like, have you checked your cables? If any transfer cables have shorted, you will get noise. When something is all right one day and bad the next day, it is usually something simple.

Often I forget to hit the switch for my can amplifier; I put them on and NADA! So, I swear and say, "NOW WHAT?" Then, I look around and the "on" light is not on. Simple!

Again, you may have something clicked "on" in the PC that should be "off." This one is just a guess on my part. I more strongly suspect a cable is faulty.
