I just got a noise reduction, I got it 2nd hand and there is no manual.

My question is: CAN YOU INSERT IT BEFORE THE MULTI FX (BETWEEN FX SEND (MONO) FROM THE RECORDER AND THE ACTUAL FX INPUT?

Little scheme:

RECORDER>FX SEND>NOISE REDUCTION>MULTI FX>FX RETURN OF RECORDER.

Is this correctly or ist here a way to hook it up better?

It depends.... is it single-ended noise reduction? Or an encode/decode type??

To be honest bear I dont know what type it is.

It's an AKAI EX 75N maybe this help you,I got it without manual and I am a newbee on this topic.

These guys have your manual if you're interested.

From the pictures I've seen of it it looks like an expander. It should work fine in the inserts being that it is basically just the opposite of a compressor, it amplifies the loud parts and attenuates the quiet parts.

Or so I think...
