I'm working on a project and I need to have it so that the end of one track and the beginning of the next track flow into each other - in other words the sound doesn't stop but the track number changes. how can i do this? I know you can set your computer up to put no space between tracks when you burn a CD, but is there a way I can use my audio programs to set up the transition? I have protools LE and cubase SX, is there a way to do this or do I have to do it manually?
Anyways there is an option in Roxio before you burn your CD to set the "transition" between one song and the next and this is where you can start to sound like you know what you are doing. I like to put a little cross-fade between my songs because it sounds professional to me. You can adjust the amount of fade and timing and what not with it and then preview it before you settle on anything. To top it all off there is so space between the songs. Just a nice smooth transition. I'm not sure how many other buring programs have this feature but I'm guessing most would. Hope this helps you out.
