Growing up is really bothering me. I can't shake it. I thought 4 was yesterday when I awoke this morning. Shoegazing and Dream pop are like a digital picture frame in my mind circulating different memories of my childhood years in the great 90's.
So I decided to start a project clinging to these genres. I would love to receive your feedback.
Thank you very much!

Wow that was loud.
I can't comment much on the mix elements because I'm away from my system.

It was pretty cool atmosphere once the vocal came in, but from an arrangement point of view the vocal took too long to come in. What bands influenced you? I listened to some bands from that era and genre and don't recall any sounding like this. Overall it was cool, and I think you should keep doing it to keep the spirit alive.

Dear Nola,
Thank you for your kind reply and arrangement offer. On this song, actually I didn't base on any old element. I just wanted to rebuild a dreamy atmosphere.

Its pretty minimal so there's not much mix to comment on as such. Everything sounds well recorded and it is an interesting piece of music though. After a while I was just doing some work and it just drifted into the background - so nothing in the mix stood out as annoying me.

I'm kind of where JDOD is. What is there is OK. But there isn't enough.

The piano sounds nice. But it's pretty dry and the vocal is super wet.

The vocal has so much reverb that words here and there get lost in the mush.

Which song are we commenting on? "Drug Dreams"?

I feel like I'm hearing a lot of mouth sounds from the vocal. It gets better as it comes to the "la la"s.

It's a simple mix. It holds together.
