While visiting family I went into a music store and played around with a Jackson PS-7,a Strat type with H-S-S pickups and a Wilkenson Trem.Nice neck, big frets on a flat board, nice trem, nice finish(Trans Green Flame top on Alder body). Nice price:$298,so I got it! Plus I found a set of EMGs (DG20) on a pickguard in another store when I got back home for $200,so I might just drop 'em in there and I'd still be under $500 for what would surely be a real screamer.

Your Very Lucky , I bought one of the Jackson (Cheapo) Perfomer series (PS 37)and it was no doubt the worst piece of Firewood i have ever tried and ive tried some pretty Naff Guitars!

Its a Randy Rhodes Shape and This means you cant play it without a strap!

So i never tried it in the shop and the shop would nt take it back!

I recently Sold it off for a measly £50 which im proud of cause it was worth Naff all!

i Guess it was worth it for the spare parts etc...

but id never buy a jackson again! thats for sure!

not even a Higher end model!

Yeah,it was only after picking it up that I realized it was a Jackson, but I didn;t let that stop me (I really dislike the looks of every other Jackson I've ever seen.) The main thing is those huge frets on what must be at least a 15" radius fretboard.Lovely and so un Fenderlike!
