I don't know if I'm putting this question in the right forum .. anyway ...
So I'm trying to get a better (more realistic possibly) sound using NI battery and its drums samples ... so I did all my drum track in sonar ... my doubts are how to put the right reverb, compressor, sends, levels etc ...
Anyone can give me any tips ... how do u use battery and its dry samples in your compositons ...
Thanks !

This is a vary vague question, one that's hard to answer. Which drumkit samples are you using? What kind of style is your tune in?

#1 concern you should have is the actual programming of the drums itself. Preferably you'd want a drummer to perfrom it using MIDI triggers. That will give you the most realistic performance. Barring that, you really need to make sure that your programming is as realistic to how a drummer would perform as possible. The rest (reverb, compression, eq) is secondary and there are no cookie-cutter answers or recipies. You need to analyse what the track needs and apply whatever processing based on that. If may even not need any compression or eq or reverb.
