newby question!

I recently started getting into home recording, and still struggle to be honest, but im getting there (hopefully!)

I'm using cubase LE. How can i monitor previously recorded tracks, and record on a seperate tracks???? E.g. listen to a guitar track then play along to it, so i can have two seperate tracks that when played together sound good.

Is this called multi-tracking or something?? Please enlighten me!
 
the best answer is RTFM... but as i'ld like to help some ... what interface are you using??? you'll need to configure it in LE... in the manual make sure you understand input and output busses... it all pretty much takes place under the devices tab...
