Newbie first post

Hi everyone
I am 54 ,been playing guitar for most of my life on and off and have been bitten by the recording bug. I went out and bought a Yamaha PSR-2000 and a few more goodies to get going.
The problem I am having is recording with the PSR-2000. I can't seem to record anything past the 4th track or any drums or rhythm.
I bought the unit used(new in 2001). I did manage to find on line the user manual.There is a lot to learn with this keyboard and for now I am just concentrating on learning the recording end.I assume the keyboard to be in good shape so I must be missing something in the manual....I just can't find where I'm going wrong.I am not that computer literate so a lot of the terms used are new to me.Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
