1st:
i have all my tracks recorded and mixed (with LE) but i have no idea how to convert the file to a .wav or .mp3. i looked in the adobe guide that came with the software, but can't find it anywhere.

2nd:
i'm using the presonus inspire 1394, and the pro-pak cd will not load (my cd rom drive won't even read it). i called presonus, and left multiple voice mails, but no one has called me back yet. is there anywhere that i can download the propak software?

thanks.

1. Set the marker, it should look like this on your timeline/barline at the top <-- -->
2. Go to file -> export -> mix to WAV, 24 bit, interleaved.

I hope it helps.

Staring... peace out.

Er... Adobe don't make Cubase. Reading the wrong manual isn't going to help in a situation like this.

In Cubase, if it's all audio (no MIDI synths) you're working with, do the export as staring says.

If it does contain synths, then you'll have to route it all to another track in Cubase and record it as a wav.

If you're using Adobe Audition (which I guess you might be, what with the 'Adobe' mention), go to Save As and select which format you want...

I think he is talking about the PDF files for Cubase, I know you have heard of a program called "Adobe Reader" and as for the pro pack that cant be installed, do you have a DVD drive? cause thats probably what it is.

How do u route the midi synths and record it as a wav? I always wanted to find out.

Studiomaster - Well, it depends on your soundcard, but in my case my SW1000 card has a facility to record its own output, so I select the SW1000 input #2 on the channel, and it'll record audio tracks, softsynths and anything that's routed into the analog input. It's how I work all the time.

Solo the midi track and do an audio mixdown. You really dont need to render a cubase midi track though since the VST output is an audio track
